KMTC Mosoriot Campus (Physical location, Courses, Requirements, How to apply and Contacts)
Kenya Medical Training College (KMTC) Mosoriot Campus is located along Eldoret – Kapsabet road. It started in September 2015 with an admission of its first class of fifty eight (58) students studying Diploma in Health promotion.
The Campus is currently housed within the Mosoriot Sub-County Hospital where our offices are, also where our female students reside. However, there is an ongoing demarcation of boundaries to separate KMTC from Mosoriot Sub County Hospital.

KMTC seeks to enrol and graduate applicants who will develop and grow educationally and personally and will contribute to the College community, and the broader society.
To that end, the role of the Admissions and Records Office is to recruit, admit, and encourage enrolment of applicants who are spiritually mature, academically excellent, accomplished in extra-curricular endeavours, and broadly diverse through individualized review and professional judgment.
Applications:
All applications are ONLINE from the application portal on this website www.kmtc.ac.ke.
The prospective candidates apply for admission into courses for each academic year for Regular or Parallel Category.
The Regular category have subsidized fee with optional accommodation but no choice for campus while the parallel category have non subsidized fee, no accommodation option but have option for campuses choice in more than sixty five (65) campuses situated in different parts of the country depending on the courses.
Application Procedure:
- Prospective candidates are expected to visit the applicants’ portal, read the advertisement to know the various courses and their specific entry requirements.
- Candidates interested in making an application are advised to READ the application guidelines (preservice/Inservice) available on the application portal
- Candidates are advised to follow the steps carefully given in the application guideline to the end to be sure of application success.

How to download 2020/2021 Admission letter to Karatina University; 2020 KUCCPS Admission list pdf
Did your KCSE examination and attained the minimum Karatina University Entry Grade? Well. Congratulations on this your major achievement. Students joining university are selected by the Kenya Universities and Colleges Central Placement Service, KCCPS. The students are selected after doing their Kenya Certificate of Secondary Education, KCSE, examination and getting the minimum University entry requirement. The KCSE students must first apply to KUCCPS to be selected to preferred programmes. The students can apply at school level or apply individually during the first and second revision windows.
Once the applications are closed, KUCCPS then places the KCSE students in preferred courses depending on the student’s score, number of available vacancies against applicants among other selection criteria. In not satisfied with the University that you have been selected to join then you can apply for Inter-Institution Transfer.
The placement body then announces the selection results and students can access the admission lists and download their admission letters.

- Access the KUCCPS Admission Letters Link at https://www.karu.ac.ke/index.php/2013-01-31-07-20-51/download-admission-letters
- Select the intake year. Enter your KCSE Index Number in full and click on ‘Submit’.

Diploma in Kenya Registered Nurse/Mid- wifery is a course offered the Kenya Medical Training College (KMTC). This course takes three years.
Entry Requirements for Diploma in Kenya Registered Nurse/Mid- wifery
To pursue this Course you must meet the following minimum requirements:
- KCSE mean grade of C with C in English or Kiswahili, and C in Biology/Biological
Sciences, - C- in Chemistry/Physical Science.

Situated about three kilometers on the northern side of Nairobi city, Kenya, KMTC headquarters and the main campus, Nairobi, stand on a 20-acre piece of land, opposite Kenyatta National Hospital, along Old Mbagathi Road. With over 34,000 students attending more than 70 medical courses, KMTC makes the biggest single contribution to the health sector in Kenya and is currently producing more than 8000 graduates every year for both the Kenyan public and private health sectors, accounting for more than 80 percent of the hospitals’ workforce. To join KMTC to pursue a certificate course, you must have a minimum of C- with specific qualifications in cluster subjects in Kenya Certificate of Secondary Examinations. For diploma programmes, you must have attained a minimum of C with specific qualifications in cluster subjects. Upgrading courses require that a candidate has a certificate in a respective field while for higher diploma programmes, candidates must have attained a diploma course as per the following guidelines. The prospective candidates apply for admission into Courses for each academic year for Regular or Parallel Category. The Regular category have subsidized fee with optional accommodation but no choice for Campus while the parallel category have non subsidized fee, no accommodation option but have option for Campuses choice in more than Forty one (65) campuses situated in different parts of the country depending on the courses. How to pay fees:
Fees
There are three fee categories namely:- Regular
- Parallel/In-service
- Foreign (as detailed in the Current fees structure)
- Fees structure is subject to changes from time to time
- Students are advised to pay fees on annual basis to avoid interruption of training
- Upon dismissal, fees are not refundable.
Stationery
All stationary is the responsibility of the student. Students are encouraged to buy their own textbooks, and specific course book lists are usually provided as an admission package to assist in purchasing books.Medical Equipment
