2022/2023 Form one selection results and admission letters 2022 KCPE Class (Check admission results and letter)

Form one intake 2022/2023 (How to get selection results quickly, online joining instructions, reporting date) – Latest Simplified guide

The 2022 form one selection results 2023 can be received through the Ministry of Education official SMS code 22263. This is the fastest way that 2022 Kenya Certificate of Primary Education (KCPE) candidates can use to know their form one placement results. These results will be released on January 16, 2023.

HOW TO SEND AN SMS TO RECEIVE 2022/2023 FORM ONE SELECTION RESULTS.

It is the responsibility of the Ministry of Education to place all the 2022 KCPE candidates to their secondary school of choice.

The Ministry will place all the 1.2 KCPE 2022 students to private, public National, Extra County, County and Sub County schools.

Placement of the KCPE 2022 candidates is done based on criteria set by the Ministry of Education. Top on the list of factors that the Ministry considers is the candidate’s performance (total marks) in the KCPE 2022 examinations.

Students with the highest scores (Over 400) are always placed at National Schools. This year, over 9000 2022 KCPE candidates will bag slots in national schools across Kenya.

The vice versa is versa is true as students with lowest scores are placed in Sub County schools.

Another criteria that is considered is affirmative action; where the cut off marks for form one selection is lowered considerably for vulnerable groups of students.

The general performance at the KCPE examinations is also a key determinant in determining the cut-off points for the various categories of schools.

Last, but not least, the form one admissions is pegged on the specific schools’ Form one capacities. This is the maximum number of form one students that a school can accommodate; based on the available space and physical facilities.

Where the capacity of a school has improved due to development of additional facilities in the year, a principal must request for placement of additional students and approval in NEMIS.

After the application, the Ministry reviews and adjusts the school’s form one capacity; usually by allowing the school to admit more form one students.

SIMPLIFIED PROCEDURE FOR CHECKING 2022 FORM ONE SELECTION RESULTS 2023.

Follow the steps below to easily get your 2022-2023 form one selection results through SMS;

  • Go to SMS (Messages) in your phone and create a new SMS. Enter the recipient number (where to send the sms to) as 22263.
  • Enter your KCPE 2022 index number in full (11 digits); See screenshot below

  • Once you are satisfied that the index number and recipient details are correct, just send the SMS.
  • Please remember that this is a premium service and you will pay Sh25 per an SMS.
  • In case the SMS from the Ministry of Education delays, kindly be a little bit patient before sending the SMS again. This is because, immediately the placement results are announced, there will be many individuals sending same SMSs and this may cause the delays.
  • Finally, only send the placement confirmation SMS once the Ministry of Education formally releases the results to the public.

TSC 2022 Simplified Guide On Updated TPAY Terms And Conditions Of Use For Teachers!

TSC 2022 Simplified Guide On Updated TPAY Terms And Conditions Of Use For Teachers!

TSC 2022 Simplified Guide On Updated TPAY Terms And Conditions Of Use For Teachers!

(Updating TPAY- Phone And Email Validation)
One of the main reasons why TSC required that teachers update their TPAY profiles by validating their phone numbers and emails was to ensure that the security of their information is guaranteed.
The TPAY system handles very sensitive and personal information of teachers necessitating enhanced security. Instances of fraudsters infiltrating the system in the past have been reported.  It has been reported that these fraudsters use details of legit users to gain access to the TPAY system thus commanding the system to carry out fraudulent transactions!
It is from this background that TSC has introduced a two-level authentification process, where the OTP is sent to the user’s official registered phone number or email to facilitate logging in. This will keep the online fraudsters at bay for without the OTP, accessing the TPAY portal will be a tall order.
With this in mind, the teachers’ employer has designed Terms and Conditions of use as follows:
  • Acceptance Of Terms And Conditions.

  1. The Commission makes the https://tpay.tsc.go.ke/  Service available to you on the terms and conditions set out here (This is a service created for the convenience of all Teachers Service Commission stakeholders)
  2. If you continue to browse and use this system you are agreeing to comply with and be bound by the following terms and conditions of use.
TSC may modify this document at any time, and you agree that such modifications will be effective immediately upon posting of the modified document
You agree that by using T-PAY after any such modifications, you will be deemed to have reviewed, agreed to, and accepted the modified document.
3. You agree that you will not deliberately provide false information when accessing or using the T-PAY system
4. You also agree that you will not falsify, forge or otherwise tamper with any information as appears on the system
  • Security Of Your Personal Information

  1. While no web system can protect itself against all eventualities, every effort is made to protect any sensitive personal information you give us.
We will not rent, sell or give away any information identifying you individually( like your name, address, or phone number ) to a third party for marketing or mailing list purposes without your consent
We will not disclose your payment information, except for purposes related to your third party ( loan, shares, etc) transaction, or with your permission, or as required by law.
2. Any transaction on T-PAY is initiated by the teachers/user who sends their payslip to any third party that may wish to seek financial assistance, users are therefore discouraged from sharing their passwords with anyone as mechanisms provided within the system for data exchange are adequate and foolproof.
  • Service Availability
The commission can’t ensure that the service that the services are provided to you at all times or at any specific times or will be able to operate at all times error-free
After-hours provision of services is influenced by the availability of related computer systems
The commission makes no warranties regarding the availability of services but all reasonable efforts will be made to provide the best possible service to you.
Notices regarding planned system outages will be communicated in advance.
  • Collection of Personal Information

The Commission does not release any information about the collection of IP addresses to any third party, except under court order or as required by the law.
The system maintains logs of user activity to help us manage the system.
The Commission may use this information to learn how many users logged into the system at a particular time and other facts that will help us improve the website and the services we offer.
  • User ID And Password

Your unique number shall be your TSC or National IC or any other number provided by the Commission, user Name and Password, and very important pieces of information and it is your responsibility to keep them secure. You agree to:
  1. Choose a new password whenever you are required to do so
  2. Not disclose your password to any other person, including family members
  3. Take reasonable care when accessing the service to ensure that your password is not disclosed to any other person
Note that if you suspect that someone may know your password, change it immediately or visit the nearest TSC office and seek assistance or email the support team at tpaysupport@tsc.go.ke
You agree that you will be responsible for any transactions made about your account using your User Name and or Password
  • Access to T-PAY

Your access to T-PAY will be denied if you:
-Provide incorrect information
-Alter any downloaded or printed information, forging payslips to enhance one’s ability so that you can acquire financial help from 3rd parties
-As a third-party institution ( SACCO, Banks) are requested to make any adjustment or stop a transaction to facilitate for example a buy-offer, and the same is not actioned within three working days
-As a third party institution are found in possession of user/teachers’ User Name and or Password or are found requesting Users/teachers for their User Name and Or Password.
-As a user or institution engage in any activity that may compromise the integrity of the system or impair its functionality
-As a user, if you do not access your account for three months
  • User Rights

📍 School Information

How to Select Grade 10 Subjects and schools

To select Grade 10 schools and subjects under the Competency-Based Curriculum (CBC) in Kenya, Grade 9 learners should first choose a career pathway (STEM, Social Sciences, or Arts & Sports Science). Then, they’ll select three subject combinations within that pathway and finally, choose four schools for each combination, totaling 12 schools. To select preferred Grade 10 Schools and Subject Combinations, use the Ministry of Education portal selection.education.go.ke.

1. How you can Choose a Career Pathway:

  • Identify your interests and potential career aspirations.
  • Select one of the three pathways: STEM, Social Sciences, or Arts & Sports Science.
  • Confirm your choice to proceed with the pathway.

2. Select Subject Combinations:

  • The portal will provide you with a list of subject combinations available within your chosen pathway.
  • Choose three subject combinations that align with your interests and strengths.

3. Select Preferred Senior Schools:

  • For each subject combination, select four schools from the available clusters.
  • This ensures a diverse range of options and equal representation from different categories of schools.
  • A total of 12 schools will be selected: 4 for the first subject combination, 4 for the second, and 4 for the third.
