TSC Promotions Vacancies (1200) Up for Grabs Following the Latest TSC Promotions Advert 2021-2022

The teachers of Kenya are a relieved lot in as far as their promotions that have seen thousands of them earn good amounts of money are concerned.

The year 2021 ushered in a new era that opened doors to thousands of teachers who got upgraded to higher cadres having attained the minimum requirements such as serving in one job group for a minimum period of three years.

The luckiest lot being classroom teachers without administrative posts who got promoted to senior teachers’ and senior Masters’ positions.

The issues of strikes are seemingly becoming a thing of the past.

The teachers in administrative positions have been earning relatively better salaries since July 2017. It is only the classroom teachers who have continued staying in the cold following the roll out of the new Career Progression Guidelines, CPGs on matters salaries.

The CPG scheme of service for teachers has however disappointed thousands of P1 teachers.

The primary school, P1 classroom teachers have not been able to apply to be deployed as deputy head teachers despite having  attained higher academic qualifications, degrees.

The main reason is that they are not senior teachers for a minimum of three years.This has always been their setbacks.

TSC has just advertised some chances for administrators.

Fortunately,the Commission has advertised the position of Senior teachers at grade C2 for the first time for the primary schools teachers.The qualification is that these teachers must have been in grade C1 where majority of the teachers are.

However,thousands of the C1 teachers are technically barred from this application again.The commission states that the C1 teacher must have been in this position for a minimum of 3 years to qualify for the application to senior teacher 2 which is at grade C2.Now,everyone knows that the current C1 teachers were elevated from B5 in July last year for the first phase.They have not been in this grade for even 2 years.This means that the thousands of classroom teachers with degrees under C1 will just do nothing but to let the chances go. These are the complications of the new schemes of service that teachers are crying foul of.
