Teachers in Kenya will soon start receiving free newspapers daily after one of the teachers’ giant unions, KNUT sealed a deal with the Nation Media Group, a leading print media company.

According to the agreement, over 300, 000 teachers will receive a free copy of the Daily Nation e-paper for a month. Confirming the news, NGM CEO Stephen Gitagama on Wednesday said that teachers will get a 30 days’ free subscription which they will access online.

Subsidized fee

Once the one-month free subscription period is over, tutors will continue receiving the newspapers at a subsidized fee of Kshs 20.

Teachers will receive a copy of the Daily Nation, Business Daily, The East African, and Taifa Leo.

HOW TO SIGN UP/REGISTER FOR FREE NEWSPAPERS

Interested tutors can sign up for free E-Papers by following this procedure

1. Access the NMG’s e-paper platform by clicking HERE
2. Click on the tab labeled Register
3. Select Individual Account and fill the details required on the form provided.
4. Once you are through click on the tab labeled Register.
5. You can now log in using your email and password.
