John Apewajoye passed on Saturday April 10, 2020 at a local hospital in Nairobi after nursing severe burns caused by a gas explosion for two weeks.
He had just refilled his gas cylinder. When he tried fixing it, it exploded leaving Pastor Apewajoye with severe injuries that led to his death.

Ruth Matete Career Background
From a tender age, Ruth Matete’s father was supportive of her talent. She discovered that she could actually sing when her father requested her to sing for him and for sure she did not disappoint.
In 2012, she decided to present herself for the TPF auditions which she won.
Her religion and unwavering faith in the Lord has seen her through major challenges parenting being the most glaring one.
When she won in the TPF competitions, she offered Kshs 500, 000 to the church as a tithe.
Ruth Matete Education background
Ruth went to Dr. Krapf and Uhuru Primary School where she excelled, proceeding to Maasai Girls and St Pauls Erusui for secondary school education.
She later joined Daystar University where she pursued A Bachelor’s Degree in Mass Communication in 2005.
Ruth Matete Early life
Ruth Matete is a product of high school love.
Her parents were still in high school when she was born but they later chatted different paths and got married to other spouses.
Ruth lived with her mother and stepfather who mistreated her and denied her an opportunity to attend school.
She decided to go to Nairobi and live with her real father, Abel Amunga and stepmother. Unfortunately, her step-mother mistreated her too but her mule determination and resilience saw her through all the challenges for she was able to soar to the greatest heights in education.
She is the reason her father and stepfather separated.
Ruth Matete’s biological mother passed on barely a month after she went to Nairobi.
She lived with her biological father since then.
