Mary Mount Girls Secondary School, Molo was started by Missionary Sisters of Africa whose vision was to extend care and support the Kenyan girl child.
Later on, Little Sisters of St Francis took over the school’s administration in the year 1933.
Mary Mount Girls Secondary School, Molo began as a single-streamed school but by 1997 it had grown into a two-streamed institution.
The first double-stream batch of students at Mary Mount Girls Secondary School, Molo sat for their KCSE exams in 1997.
Currently, Mary Mount Girls Secondary School, Molo is a three streamed girls’ only boarding school.
