The dream of every KCPE candidate in Kenya is to get admitted into one of the most coveted national schools in Kenya to continue with his or her secondary education.

Unfortunately, national schools do not just open their doors for any KCPE candidate. They are a special preserve for the academically gifted learners who attain the highest marks in the national Kenya Certificate of Primary Education, KCPE examinations.

This explains why national schools are considered to be the most prestigious secondary learning institutions.

National schools attract learners from all the 47 counties in Kenya.
Admission and selection to national schools are done online by the Ministry of Education via the Ministry of Education’s official portal.
