TSC Starts Promotions of School Administrators: Here Is A List Of Requirements

The Teachers Service Commission (TSC) has officially kicked off promotion interviews of school administrators in arid and semi-arid areas and secondary school teachers with higher qualifications.
The April 2023 TSC Promotion Vacancies will be filled this month through a rigorous competitive process that is being spearheaded by County selection panels.
The interviews which started on Monday will end on Friday. Candidates will thereafter wait patiently for a promotion letter or a regret.
Successful applicants will consequently enjoy increased salary perks per month affecting the basic pay, house allowance, commuter allowance and responsibility allowance(for school administrators only.)
List Of Requirements for 2023 TSC Promotions
According to Section 23(1) of the Teachers Service Commission Act, 2012, all applicants must be certified teachers. A candidate who has not completed the registration process will not be considered.
The County Selection Panel will use each applicant list to narrow the field down to five (5) potential candidates for each position. The Teachers Service Commission’s website will provide information about those who were selected for interviews, as well as the dates and locations at which they will take place.
According to Teacher Service Commission, TSC, the school administrators include senior masters, deputy head teachers, deputy principals, head teachers, and principals. School Administrators are found in primary and secondary schools and teachers training colleges, both regular and special schools.
After applying for TSC advertised vacancy the next step is to attend the interviews as scheduled. Before attending the interview session, it is good to prepare adequately.

If a candidate’s name is misspelled on any of their official documents (such as transcripts, licenses, or identification cards), they must submit an Affidavit, sworn under the Oaths and Statutory Declarations Act, Cap 15 of the Laws of Kenya, to explain the discrepancy.

There are seven documents that TSC asks for during school administrator interviews
Your National Identity card, ID; both Original and copy
Original academic and professional certificates
Letter of appointment the current Grade
Letter of appointment to the current post, where applicable
Analyzed individual subjects’ results in KCSE and KCPE examinations for the past three years certified by TSC county or sub-county directors
Performance appraisal (TPAD) reports for the last three years
Any other testimonials supporting your performance
