TSC LATEST UPDATES: 2019 CBC TRAINING PAYMENT RATES, DATES FOR TEACHERS, CSOS AND CHAMPIONS
The Teachers Service Commission, TSC has just released the training dates for the upcoming CBC training for teachers, CSOs and champions.

CBC TRAINING DATES AND VENUES FOR CSOs AND CHAMPIONS
The training dates for Curriculum Support Officers, CSOs, and CBC Champions will take place between Friday, December 2019 and Sunday 22 December 2019.

The training will take place on the aforementioned dates nationally but at different venues in various counties.

This is according to a TSC Circular on CBC training sessions this year, December.

Furthermore, the TSC has directed those in charge to confirm the venues as stipulated in August 2019 and not exceed the number of participants required for each training centre.

CBC TRAINING DATES AND VENUES FOR TEACHERS

According to the circular, the CBC training dates for teachers shall take place at the zonal levels.

The exact date shall be communicated by the commission by Monday 16 December 2019.

CBC TRAINING PAYMENT RATES
The following CBC training payment rates shall apply for remuneration, travel allowance and meals for all CSOs, teachers and heads who shall attend the training.
HERE IS A BREAK-DOWN OF THE CBC TRAINING PAYMENT RATES
. CSOs will receive a maximum of Kshs 1, 000 while CBC champions will be paid Kshs 800 to cover their travel expenses.

. The training venue will offer meals worth Kshs 400 per day for the three days and stationery worth Kshs 100 per participant.

. All participants will be paid Kshs 3, 000 per day to cater for accommodation for 4 days.

CBC TRAINING PAYMENT RATES FOR TEACHERS AND HEAD TEACHERS AT ZONAL LEVELS
Teachers taking part in the CBC training will be reimbursed Kshs 300 per day for travel expenses

CSOs and CBC champions will be paid Kshs 1, 000 per day as facilitation allowance for five days.

All participants will receive Kshs 1, 000 per day for five days for accommodation.

A common lunch worth Kshs 400 per day will be provided for all participants and facilitators for five days.

Every participant will receive stationery worth Kshs 100.

Fuel worth Kshs 5, 000 per vehicle for 2 vehicles per county and 3 vehicles for the counties which will host the Regional Directors.

A lunch allowance of maximum Kshs 1, 500 per day will be paid for 5 days to all regional directors, county directors, deputy county directors, county directors, 2 drivers and county accounts.

This will be paid based on the payment rates for various job groups.

NOTE:
All payments meant to facilitate the upcoming CBC training will be processed through the bank, not cash.
The funds can be disbursed through the bulk M-Pesa service at the bank.
All payment schedules have to be approved by the County Director before being dispatched.
