TSC recruitment Interviews for the top five shortlisted applicants in Kisii County will be held from Thursday, January 13, 2023, to Wednesday, January 19, 2023, according to the reviewed road map for the mass recruitment of junior secondary school teachers, primary school teachers, and interns.
The Teachers Service Commission (TSC) has released TSC recruitment dates and venues per county and region 2022/2023.
The new TSC interview dates and venues target teachers who applied for the recently advertised 35, 550 vacancies.
The vacancies will be filled between Thursday 13th January 2023 and Wednesday 19th January, 2023.

TSC News Today; The Teachers Service Commission (TSC) has invited the top 5 applicants from system generated merit lists per county for every school and subject combination.
Since July, the Commission introduced a new way of saving time during TSC recruitment exercises by sampling top 5 applicants only.
In the upcoming January 2023 TSC recruitment exercise, older graduates and teachers on internship obviously have an upper hand since the Commission caps the recruitment age at 45 years and below.
According to the 2022/2023 TSC recruitment roadmap, interviews for recruitment will be county based and is to be done between Thursday 5th January 2023 and Wednesday 11th January, 2023.
The recruited teachers will report to schools on Monday 23rd January 2023.

“During the recruitment, we will consider the time when the teachers graduated and the grade strength. We encourage even those teachers with 58 years to apply so that they can be considered to serve the commission for the remaining period before they attain the retirement age,” Muturi said.
He added: “To ensure transparency, the guidelines are structured so that those who graduated early are given the first priority.”
DOCUMENTS REQUIRED DURING THE 2023 TSC RECRUITMENT PROCESS
During the selection applicants must present original and legible photocopies of the following documents;
)National identification card
ii)National Council of Persons with Disability (NCPWD) Card (where applicable);
iii)KCPE certificate;
iv)KCSE certificates (include first attempt certificate if one repeated exams) or A Level Certificate (where applicable);
v)PTE certificate;
vi)Primary, Secondary Schools leaving certificates and other relevant testimonials.

(k)The selection panel shall vet each applicant to establish if he/she meets the requirements of the TSC advertisement.
(l)Preference will be given to the applicants who have not been previously employed by the Commission.
