<p class="MsoNormal">The commission also said it had received concerns from some applicants who have experienced difficulties while applying for the slots.</p>
<p class="MsoNormal">Catherine Lenairoshi, a member of the corporate communication department said that following the difficulties, the commission had increased the efficiency of its system to ease the entire process.</p>
<p class="MsoNormal">She also confirmed that the deadline for application had been shifted to Thursday next week to enable all interested candidates to submit their applications.</p>

<p class="MsoNormal">A total number of 4,300 qualified teachers will be deployed to primary schools and 6, 000 to secondary schools.</p>
<p class="MsoNormal">The aim of the recruitment is to plug the acute teacher shortage in the basic education sector.</p>
