The Teachers Service Commission has announced an annual salary increment for over 300, 000 tutors currently on the TSC payroll as of July 2020.

So what is an annual salary pay rise in the context of the TSC?

This refers to a salary increase for all teachers employed by the Teachers Service Commission, TSC on permanent and pensionable terms that is usually effected at the start of every financial year. This explains the meaning of the term annual.

In 2018, the Teachers Service Commission affected an annual increment for teachers which saw regular classroom teachers’ salaries increase as follows
