The Long Wait Over! TSC Advertises 5000 Fresh Recruitment and 8,230 Replacement Teaching Vacancies to be Filled in July-August 2022
Teachers who have been thirstily eyeing the lucrative TSC recruitment slots can, at last, breathe a sigh of relief. This follows the latest TSC recruitment breaking news today indicating that the Teachers Service Commission will employ 5000 fresh recruits to address teaching gaps occasioned by the influx of learners in both primary and especially secondary schools in line with the 100 percent transition policy.

The teachers recruited will serve on Permanent and Pensionable terms of service.
Interested and qualified candidates should submit their applications online through the Teachers Service Commission’s website, www.tsc.go.ke under ‘ Careers’ or teachersonline.tsc.go.ke not later than 7th July 2022.
A. SECONDARY SCHOOL TEACHERS (3,972 POSTS).
To qualify for recruitment, a candidate should meet the following minimum requirements:
i) Be a Kenyan citizen;
- Must be a holder of at least a diploma in education;
- Must be a registered teacher with the Teachers Service
TEACHER TRAINING COLLEGES (28 POSTS).

8,230 replacement vacancies
The Teachers Service Commission is also declaring 8,230 vacancies to replace teachers who exited service through natural attrition i.e. 6,539 posts for primary schools and 1,691 posts for secondary schools.
The teachers recruited will serve on Permanent and Pensionable terms of service.
