Machakos Pastor sells church Instruments to mitigate biting effects of the coronavirus pandemic, details below
A Machakos based man of God has committed iniquity before God and man after he resorted to selling church instruments to shield himself from the biting effects of the Coronavirus Pandemic.
The pastor who hails from Missuni area in Machakos allegedly sold several musical instruments after the Coronavirus Pandemic paralyzed his operations.
He started the church four years ago and was lucky to win over souls that have stood by him until the pandemic came knocking.
According to the Daily Nation, church members put their best foot forward to expand their church. They even set aside money for the purchase of the instruments that have now been sold.
No tithes and offerings
Ever since President Uhuru banned all forms of gatherings including church services, pastors and other religious leaders have been through a rough time given that there are no tithes or offerings forthcoming.
Many religious organizations have been forced to shut down some of their operations. Therefore, selling church instruments or even property is not far-fetched.
Deserted church
When church members learnt of their pastor’s “sins,” they vowed not to return to church once the Covid 19 pandemic ceases.
“There is nothing we can do at the moment since church services have been banned. However, we will not go back to the church once things normalize,” said one of the members.
