How to Apply Online For KNEC Examiners’ Training 2021 Via examinersapp.knec.ac.ke

The Kenya National Examinations Council (Knec) is the only body entrusted with the responsibility of overseeing and carrying out summative assessment for primary and secondary school leavers in Kenya.
Following the announcement of the 2021 Kenya Certificate of Primary Education,KCPE and the Kenya Certificate of Secondary Education-KCSE official examination dates and the release of the KCPE and KCSE timetable, the Kenya National Examinations Council has announced training dates for teachers wishing to be trained as Knec examiners upon successful completion of the training process.
Successful applicants will be lucky to receive an invitation from Knec to mark the 2021 KCSE Examinations for approximately two weeks.
Their roles and responsibilities encompass coordination of the marking scheme. Knec will pay the examiners a co-ordination fee of Kshs 150 per day before they go into the live marking of examination scripts phase.
The examiners will also be charged with the responsibility of marking and awarding marking for candidates then later cross-checking and confirming candidates’ scores.

Official Knec Examiners Training Dates and Venues 2021
Recently Kenya National Examinations Council (KNEC) advertised training opportunities for teachers to prepare them to become examiners for Kenya Certificate of Primary Education (KCPE) and Kenya Certificate of Secondary Education (KCSE).
According to an earlier circular from KNEC the 2021 training will take place between 3rd and 9th October 2021.
Teachers who are eying the training exercise will be expected to part way with Sh10,500. For more details see; Advert for knec training of examiners in October 2021.
Follow the simple steps below;
Access the Knec examiners portal using the link https://examinersapp.knec.ac.ke
Those with Cp2 accounts and passwords, should log in to the portal using their usernames and passwords.
Those without passwords should click on reset password button and enter their mobile number in the format 2547******** and submit to get their usernames and passwords.
Those without Cp2 account, click on create account and follow the instructions to create your profile.
Upon successful log in, complete your personal profile and save. On the dashboard click on apply for training and all the declared vacancies will be available for the trainees to choose.
