Professor George Magoha, the CS Education has told Kenyans to expect the release of this year’s KCPE results long before Christmas.
He further added that KCPE candidates will be aware of the schools they will join at form one level by Christmas so that parents will prepare adequately.
This means that the candidates will receive their results before November elapses.
The marking exercise of the Kenya Certificate of Primary Education has already kicked off in all the 11 centres set aside for the process.
According to the Kenya National Examination Council, KNEC 7000 examiners have been contracted to mark KCPE English Composition and Kiswahili Insha papers.
The rest of the papers will be marked using the new optical mark recognition (OMR) machine.
Last year’s KCPE exams were released on 19th December.
According to Dr Mercy Karogo, KNEC CEO, the coordination of KCPE Composition and Insha will take place between 1st and 20th November 2019.
