New Education CS: Ezekiel Machogu to Replace CS George Magoha 

Ezekiel machogu, who hails from Kisii County, Nyaribari Masaba constituency has bagged a sensitive seat after President William Ruto appointed him as the Education Cabinet Secretary. Ezekiel Machogu who is an alumnus of Nduru High School and Agoro Sare High will unseat and dethrone Professor George Magoha his predecessor.

In 1970, Ezekiel Ombaki went to Nduru High School for his O–Level Certificate. Upon completion, in 1974, he proceeded to Agoro Sare High School for his A–Level Certificate.

Between 1976 and 1979, Ezekiel Ombaki attended the University of Nairobi to acquire a Bachelor of Arts.

In 1976, Ezekiel Ombaki got a job at the Office of the President as a District Officer and later in 1989 till 2008, still at the Office of the President, he was appointed District Commissioner.

From 2008 to 2016 , he worked at the Public Service Commission as a Senior Deputy Secretary.

In 2017, Ezekiel Ombaki joined the Kenya National Assembly as a Member of Parliament for Nyaribari Masaba Constituency.

Vied for governorship in Kisii county ,he became position two.

After losing he got appointed by William Ruto as cabinet secretary for education.
