On May 31, 2020, the sassy, bold and audacious beauty bid her fans goodbye after she announced her exit in an emotional farewell.
“I really appreciate you all. It is time for me to say goodbye here on K24 TV. Thank you so much for your support. I appreciate you, God bless you and I love you,” said Betty.
Her exit was expected after a group of employees at the TV station’s parent company Mediamax Network Limited moved to court following pay rows.
The company is planning to lay off several employees in June for the second time in six months.
IS BETTY KYALO PREGNANT?
In October 2019, rumors on social media platforms had it that Betty was expectant. The media personality however dismissed them.
The rumors emanated from her recent photo with a slightly bigger tummy which she posted on Instagram.
“I am only expecting a good game tonight na hata Ivanna hawezi kubali,” the TV personality explained.
BETTY KYALO WANTS BABY NUMBER TWO BUT WITH A DIVORCEE
On May 25, Betty announced her plans of having a second child but with a divorced man. Although she said that she was not sure which kind of partner she would want, she confessed that a divorcee would make her a stronger partner.
“I am not sure if I would like a divorced, single, or a widower. I am always pulling towards that direction of divorced guys because I think we get each other. I have been there, and I think divorced guys always know things can go wrong, so they are extra careful,” she said

In an emotional goodbye, Betty revealed her plans to join a rival media station after quitting K24. She did not however reveal the name of her next station.

“Last year nilienda kutafuta kazi kwa Bureau mahali Betty alinikuta so nilienda kwake last year tarehe tano mwezi wa nne. Nilipata mtoto wake ametoka ICU. Therapy mimi ndio nilikuwa ninampleka na saa zingine mamake hata simuoni. Sana sana mamake hata hakuwangi, na hata ni mimi nalalanga na huyo mtoto room moja,” said the nanny.
Consolata Wawira, the nanny poured out her heart after Betty went on social media and accused her of theft.
