The Kenyan Government has confirmed 9 more new cases of covid 19 in Kenya today.
This brings the total number of Coronavirus cases in Kenya to 25.
Confirming the nine new coronavirus cases CS Health Mutahi Kagwe has issued a stern warning to Kenyan parents to be vigilant in as far as protecting their children is concerned.
Four counties have been mapped out as potential Coronavirus high-risk areas. These include Nairobi, Mombasa, Kilifi, and Kwale.
Of the nine new coronavirus cases confirmed today, 7 are Kenyans, while 2 are foreigners.
3 cases have been contracted from close contacts while 4 from have been imported from affected counties.

The new coronavirus cases have been quarantined and 15 contacts have been traced and are currently at mbagathi awaiting results.
CS Mutahi added that all international travelers will be quarantined in hotels and government facilities.
He reiterated his stance that the hotels should not take advantage of the patients.
Challenges have also been noted at the JKIA and hotels offering accommodation services to travelers are bound to occur given the high numbers.
The Government has however streamlined the process and requested Kenyans to bear with them.
Coronavirus testing kits
Today, the Kenyan Government received 25, 000 coronavirus testing kits.
