TSC List of Promotion Letters 2023: The Following Teachers to Collect TSC Promotion Letters Starting Monday
The following Teachers have been directed to pick their TSC Promotion Letters as from Monday ahead of schools’ reopening.
As enshrined in the Kenyan Constitution, the Teachers Service Commission has exercised its duties and upgraded teachers this year.
For school deputies, senior teachers, and acting head teachers and principals who applied for publicized promotion openings, this is a relief.
The commission has mandated that these teachers start receiving promotion letters next week.
The Senior Teachers and Deputy Heads will receive theirs beginning the next week from the offices of the Teachers Service Commission (TSC) Sub County Directors.
Additionally, the TSC County Directors’ offices will be pick-up point for the school heads and principals who have already been notified about their promotion.
According to reports, the TSC headquarters released the final batch of letters, which are now in County and Sub County offices for printing and distribution to teachers who applied for the same.
In the most recent recruiting, there were few senior teachers and deputy headteachers/principals who had received their letters after attending interviews in their counties successfully.
In December 2022, the instructor’s employer published advertisements for 14,738 different teacher promotions.
New salary scales for promoted teachers
Since TSC sets the effective promotion date for all successful applicants, all successful applicants will get a salary increment from the set date on wards. For instance, senior masters will now earn a monthly basic salary of between Sh52,308 and Sh55,604.
