Marking of the 2022 KCSE examinations is underway. On Friday January 6, 2023, all the examiners had completed the process of harmonizing the marking schemes for all the 30 papers tested during the Kenya Certificate of Secondary Education, KCSE, examinations.

On Saturday January 7, 2023, all KNEC marking centres were activated into the live marking mode.

The examiners usually take a record time of 14 days to harmonize the marking schemes and mark candidates’ scripts.

The 2022 KCSE candidates should therefore expect results by Friday next week.

The official Knec code for 2022 KCSE examinations is 20076.

To receive results quickly, send the SMS with the candidate’s full index number followed by KCSE to 20076 through mobile service providers namely Safaricom, Airtel, Equitel, Telkom, Finserve etc.
