Now that the KCPE 2020-2021 Knec results are out, the next key step in any candidate’s career journey is getting to know which secondary school s/he has been admitted to in 2021.
Already some parents through the National Parents Association chair Nicholas Maiyo have expressed concern that their candidates may miss out on the highly coveted 30, 000 form one slots in national schools after claims arose touching on illegal pre-selection of candidates.
The MoE has however dissipated any fear touching on the form one selection and placement exercise scheduled for May 28, 2021 saying that any illegal placement lists will be discarded like ulcers in favour of the official Ministry of Education Form one Placement Results 2021.

2021 Form one selection results and admission letters; National schools
Once the Ministry of education has completed the placement exercise for the 2021 form one students, Candidates who sat for the 2020 Kenya Certificate of Primary Education (KCPE) examinations can now check their placement results online and via SMS.
The Education Cabinet Secretary has today announced the 2021 form one admission results for the 2020 KCPE candidates. You can now download your form one admission letter so as to know the specific school joining instructions.

Then, Select the county and sub-county where your KCPE centre is located and key in your index number and Submit.
Click on the link named “admission letter” at the bottom of the page for a copy of your admission letter.
Use the printer icon to print or download icon to download to your computer.
Get your primary school’s headteacher to endorse the letter and stamp it in the space provided.
Finally, present it for admission together with a certified copy of birth certificate
