KCPE 2020 Top 100 Candidate’s Details
Faith Mumo was a candidate at Kari-mwailu Primary School, a public, government-owned institution located in Makueni County. Faith Mumo scooped a total of 433 marks out of the total 500, registering a drop by 7 points compared to the KCPE 2019 Top candidate.
ABOUT FAITH MUMO KAWEE, THE BEST OVERALL KCPE 2020-2021 CANDIDATE
During a live interview recorded by Citizen TV on April 15, Faith Mumo was expecting better performance at least 455 marks out of 500.
She hopes to join Kenya High School, her dream school.
In the second position came Yvette Wesonga Nanzala from Chogoria Girls who tied with Muriithi Angel Gakenia of Maseno Girls Primary Boarding School. They both scooped 432 marks out of the total 500.
NOTE: The top 3 KCPE 2020 candidates are girls. They took their studies and examinations from public primary schools, a clear indication that kids from public schools can still excel.
Other KCPE 2020/2021 candidates who made it to the list of Top 15 IN 2021 include:
Wanyonyi Samuel Makhanu of Nzoia Sugar Company, who scored 431 marks hence scooping position four. He tied with two other candidates who are Castro Williams of Crystal Hill Academy and Tarus Chepkemboi Laureen of St. Mathews Septonok.
In position 7 came Kipkirui Abiud from Lessos Hills Adventist who scored 430 marks. He was closely followed by Mwangi Margret Waruguru of Karatina DEB who attained 429 marks. Position 8 had a tie too. Margret Waruguru tied with Bernice Checed Omondi of Nairobi Primary, next to Harambee House, and Kiogora Joy Nkatha of Chogoria Girls.
Five candidates competed for position 11 nationally scoring 428 marks out of the total 500. They include Daniel Chris Mboya of Crystal Hill Academy, Njenga Lowell Mwagambo of Emmanuel Springs Academy, Jeff Mutugi of Fred’s Academy, Polycarp Ombongi Kiyondi of Ober Boys, and Debra Zawadi
