2020 TSC Promotions Interviews Suspended Following Coronavirus Outbreak
No More Promotional Interviews at TSC
The Teachers Service Commission, TSC has suspended ongoing promotional Interviews due to Coronavirus Outbreak in Kenya.
According to Ms Wababu, the ongoing TSC interviews have been halted till further notice following President Uhuru Kenyatta’s directive today.
President Uhuru Kenyatta directed all companies, governmental and non-governmental organizations to suspend their activities unless it is absolutely necessary.
Besides, employees have been advised to work from the comfort of their houses in order to self quarantine unless it is absolutely necessary that they work from the office.
President Uhuru has further warned alarmists against spreading propaganda in as far as the Covid 19 Virus is concerned.
Those who are found guilty will be charged for misleading the public.
President Uhuru also warned opportunistic, vulture-like traders against hoarding commodities during this time.
He said that commodities should be readily available to all Kenyans and no trader should take advantage of the Coronavirus pandemic in the Country.
Supermarkets and churches have also been advised to provide soap and water or sanitizers to reduce the spread of Coronavirus in Kenya.
Learning has also been suspended in all Educational Institutions.
All day schools in Kenya are expected to suspend learning as from tomorrow on Monday March 16, 2020.
Boarding Schools on the other hand have been directed to close by Wednesday March 18, 2020.
Tertiary level learning institutions have up to Friday March 20, 2020 to suspend their operations.
The President is optimistic that Kenya will overcome the Coronavirus pandemic soon.
