Kanga high school was founded in 1985 by the late Internal Security Permanent Secretary Hezekiah Oyugi. This is a national boarding public school for boys. The school has an amazing record in national examinations performance. For instance, the school made it to the top ten nationally in the 1988 Kenya Advanced Certificate of Education(KACE)
