Education CS Professor George Magoha has today officially reopened schools to learners. This announcement therefore means that form four, class eight and grade four learners will report to their respective schools on Monday October 12, 2020.

There will be no national exams for candidates in the year 2020.
This follows CS Magoha’s announcement today at the KICD offices at a press briefing on the reopening of schools and the new school calendar for the year 2020.

Speaking at the KICD offices in Nairobi today, the CS also added that the KCPE and KCSE national exams will be pushed to the year 2021. Therefore, the entire 2020 academic year will be considered lost and written off.
