BREAKING! Magoha reopens primary and secondary schools to candidates, grade four learners, Reporting Date: Monday 12, 2020

Education CS Professor George Magoha has today officially reopened schools to learners. This announcement therefore means that form four, class eight and grade four learners will report to their respective schools on Monday October 12, 2020.

Candidates will later sit their exams in March with class 8 pupils undertaking their tests between March 22nd and 24th next year.

Form four candidates on the other hand will take their exams between March 25, 2021 and April 2021.

This move follows the ministry of education’s announcement last week that final year students in colleges and universities will be the first to reopen schools before others are allowed back.

Learners reporting back to their institutions are expected to observe extremely high levels of hygiene with strict adherence to covid-19 health protocols.

They are hence expected to observe high lelevls of hygiene, put on face masks, wash hands regularly and adopt innovative strategies to curb the spread of the coronavirus.
