<h1><span style="color: #ff00ff;"><strong>Payment rates for the Knec contracted professionals in 2022</strong></span></h1>

<p>The Kenya National Examinations Council (KNEC) has released the payment rates for contracted professionals who will be in charge of the 2022 KCSE, KCPE and KPSEA examinations to be done in November/ December this year (2022).</p>

<p>The contracted professionals who include Centre Managers (Principals and Head Teachers), Supervisors, Invigilators and Security Personnel are expected to update their details online and download their invitation letters at https://cp2.knec.ac.ke/Professionals</p>

<p>According to Payment details released by the Council, Primary school heads who will act as Centre Managers for the Kenya Certificate of Primary Education, KCPE, exams will pocket a daily subsistence allowance of Sh500; for a total of 4 days (including rehearsal day). The exams will be done between Monday November 28<span style="text-transform: initial;">, 2022 to Wednesday November 30, 2022.</span></p>
<p>Rehearsals for KCPE will be conducted on November 25, 2022, with the exams officially beginning on November 28 and ending on November 30, 2022.</p>
<p>KCSE will be rehearsed on November 18, and thereafter sat for between November 21 and December 23, 2022.</p>
<p>On their part, Secondary schools Principals are expected to also earn a daily allowance of Sh500 for 18 days. The highest paid Supervisor will walk away with a sum total of Sh12,510 while the highest paid invigilator will pocket Sh9860. The KCSE exams will kick off in November 21, 2022. The last examination day will be done in December 23, 2022.</p>

<p>Unfortunately, the Council has again failed to factor payment for Deputy Head Teachers and Principals despite the fact that they will be present during the examination period as assistant Centre Managers. Also walking home empty handed are teachers handling science subjects who will be required to prepare and administer practicals during the KCSE examinations.</p>

<p>This year’s KCPE exams will be done between November 28 and December 1. Writing of theory and practical exams for KCSE exams is expected to be between Monday 4th November and Wednesday 27th November. The government has mobilised 180,000 teachers as well as police helicopters for this year’s national examinations.</p>

<p>A total of 286,000 professionals have been contracted by the Council to administer the 2020 Kenya Certificate of Primary Education (KCPE) and Kenya Certificate of Secondary Education (KCSE) exams.</p>

<p>To get the list of contracted professionals, assigned to your school, use the procedure below;</p>

<p>Log onto the KNEC contracted portal by using the official address; https://cp2.knec.ac.ke</p>
<p>Enter the User Name (Starting with KCSECentre code) and password (Specific to each centre and held by the centre manager).</p>
<p>Next, input the approximate distance between the centre/ school and exam distribution centre.</p>
<p>Then log onto the centre’s account.</p>
<h1><strong><span style="color: #ff00ff;">How Knec 2022 Contracted Professionals can Download their Invitation Letters</span></strong></h1>

<p>Click on the ‘Dash Board’ tab and check under deployments. See the Centre where you have been assigned to execute your duties.</p>

<p>The marking exercise for the KCSE 2022 National Examinations is slated for January 2022 while KCPE 2022 will be marked in December 2022 before Christmas.</p>
