GIRLS’ SUB COUNTY SECONDARY SCHOOLS IN KENYA

HERE IS A LIST OF, SUB COUNTY GIRLS’ SECONDARY SCHOOLS IN KENYA PER COUNTY, THEIR KNEC CODES, TYPE, CATEGORY AND LOCATION:
Sub-county schools in Kenya form the lowest cadre of secondary schools.

 They come after national, extra county and county schools respectively.

Kenyan learners who attain low marks in the KCPE national exam are admitted to these schools.

Majority of sub-county schools are mixed though there are a few single-sex secondary schools.

Most of them are day schools though a few are day/boarding schools.

They are available across all the 47 counties.

A KCPE candidate in Meru County is nursing serious injuries on his dominant hand after a teacher allegedly broke it. The boy has consequently been forced to take his KCPE examination using his left hand.

The Public Service Commission recruited interns under the Public Service Commission.

The appointment letters have been dispatched and successful applicants are expected to report to their work stations between 14th and 31st October 2019.

SCHOOLS AND COLLEGES CO-CURRICULAR CALENDAR FOR TERM 1, 2020
2020 DRAMA FESTIVALS

2020 National Drama Festivals have been scheduled to take place between 13th and 24th April at the Coast, Mombasa County.

The venue will be in Mombasa.

Approximately 15, 000 participants will take part at the National level.

Participants are expected to arrive at the host region on 13th April 2020 and depart on 23rd April 2020.
