In case the school’s joining instructions are missing , the system will prompt the Principal to upload the joining instructions in the system from their computer. The Principal should ensure that.

1.The first page is the attached copy (school logo/address on the first page only) and should not be edited.

2.The letter should be in MS-word format.

3 .The letter should be submitted as one document only.

4.The document should be named using the school’s KNEC code. (eg. Menu School save as 15300002)

5 Avoid heavy graphic-like maps and pictures in the letter.

Meanwhile schools are requested to provide their email addresses as well as that of the person in charge of ICT to their respective County Director for compilation and forwarded to Lkaruntimi@gmail. com. Schools should not send the information directly but through the CDE.

In addition, take note of the following:

(I)The tentative Form 1 reporting date is 30 January,  2023. )

(II).Schools must not direct parents to procure uniforms of any other materials from a central location At the same time, schools should not ask parents to come and buy items in the school.

Form one Selection 2023 – Form One Selection Confirmation by SMS

2022 KCPE: Education Ministry says Form 1 selection to be completed on January 16, 2023; all 1.2 million candidates to be placed in secondary schools

Parents can check the secondary schools that their children have been selected to join by sending an SMS with the candidate’s Index Number to 22263 from any network. The cost of the SMS is Ksh. 25.

How to Check Online the Secondary School You Have Been Admitted To

Step 1: Got to the Ministry of Education Website

Step 2: Select the county and sub-county where the candidate sat for KCPE Exam

Step 3: Enter your KCPE index number.

Step 4: Click Submit

Step 5: Click on the admission letter at the bottom of the page to download and print

After you download and print your Form 1 Admission Letter, present it, together with your passport size photos, and results slip, to the school where you sat for your KCPE Exam for endorsement. Thereafter, present the endorsed documents together with a certified copy of your birth certificate, to the secondary school where you are required to report.
