Several people are feared dead following a suspected Al-Shabaab militia attack on a bus headed for Mandera Town between Kutulo and Wargadud area in Wajir County today (December 6, 2019).

Confirming the devastating news, Wajir County Police Commander Mr Stephen Ng’etich said that a group of armed men attacked a bus today (on Friday) at 5.00 P.M. but they are yet to confirm the exact number of casualties.
The bus dubbed “MADINA” was attacked barely a month after armed Al-Shabaab militia attacked DADAJABULA Police Station in Wajir County with an intent to free two terrorists who were held at the station.
