KCSE AND KCPE 2020 REGISTRATION GUIDELINES FOR ALL KENYAN SCHOOLS
Unlike fresh candidates, parents or guardians of KCPE and KCSE repeaters are expected to fully meet the cost of exams.

The surcharged fee is usually paid to the official KNEC accounts by school headteachers and principals.

The registration of candidates for the 2020 KCPE, KCSE and KCSE QT exams is ongoing. The deadline for registration has been set on February 15 2020.

Below is a breakdown of the applicable fees for the 2020 Kenya Certificate of Secondary Education, KCSE, repeaters and non-Kenyans.

KNEC  DROPS UPI REQUIREMENT FOR KCSE REGISTRATION, FIND OUT WHY
The Kenya National Examinations Council, KNEC has dropped the mandatory UPI requirement for KCSE 2020 candidates. UPI in full means Unique Personal Identifier which is generated for all Kenyan students via the National Education Management Information System, NEMIS.

Previously, all Kenya students wishing to register as Kenya Certificate of Secondary Education candidates were expected to produce these UPIs prior to their registration.
