How to download 2020/2021 Admission letter to Bomet University College (BUC); 2020 KUCCPS Admission list pdf

Sat for your KCSE examination and attained the minimum University Entry Grade and have been selected to join Bomet University College (BUC)? Well. Congratulations for this your major achievement. Students joining Bomet University College (BUC) are selected by the Kenya Universities and Colleges Central Placement Service, KCCPS. The students are selected after doing their Kenya Certificate of Secondary Education, KCSE, examination and getting the minimum University entry requirement. The KCSE students must first apply to KUCCPS to be selected to preferred programmes. The students can apply at school level or apply individually during the first and second revision windows.

Once the applications are closed, KUCCPS then places the KCSE students in preferred courses depending on the student’s score, number of available vacancies against applicants among other selection criteria. In not satisfied with the University that you have been selected to join then you can apply for Inter-Institution Transfer.

The placement body then announces the selection results and students can access the admission lists and download their admission letters.

  2. The admission letters for first year students are available by logging in to the students portal at https://www.bucwebportal.com/login and thereafter follow the instructions below to download your admission letter.

     

Example:
If your KCSE Index Number is 12345678910/2019 then the correct Credential for Login is as follows:
Email: 12345678910/2019@gmail.com
Password: 12345678910/2019

  • Students are advised to change their default emails and passwords immediatetly after login.

  1. Access the KUCCPS Admission Letters Link at https://www.kca.ac.ke/governmentsponsoredstudents
  2. Enter your KCSE Index Number.
  3. Locate the Admission Letter download tab and click on it to download it.
  4. Print the Admission letter and read the instructions keenly. In case you have queries, please direct them to the University by using the official (provided) contacts on your admission letter.

  5. Once accepted into the degree of your choice, you will receive an admission package through the email you used in the KUCCPS registration. To confirm your admission kindly fill and return the forms in the admission package to the Enrollment office at the main campus, Ruaraka or Kisumu Campus (Mega Plaza). Remember to carry the original documents and copies as requested in the admission letter.

Admission Requirements

This admission offer is made on the basis of the statement of your qualifications as presented by the Kenya National Examination Council (KNEC) or other approved examination bodies. As a student you will be expected to register for courses in your degree programme. Any change of Faculty or Department will be permitted only by approval of the University Authorities. A bona fide student will be considered to be one registered in the University during a current academic year. Students unable to register in the academic year may Defer their studies or take an Academic Leave for that academic year. This should be done by writing a letter to the office of the Registrar (Academic Affairs), stating reasons for deferment to the next academic year. The deferment period shall be one (1) academic year renewable continuously up to a maximum of three (3) academic years. Reasons for deferment shall normally be due to: Financial reasons; compassionate reasons; medical reasons (provide medical documents) or any other reason acceptable to Senate. 15. CONDITIONS FOR REGISTRATION No student will be registered without producing the following: – (a) The Admission Letter. (Original) (b) Original result/certificate (which will be returned to the student after verification of its authenticity). (c) Two photocopies of the Certificate/Result Slip. Students joining Mount Kenya University (MKU) are selected by the Kenya Universities and Colleges Central Placement Service, KCCPS. The students are selected after doing their Kenya Certificate of Secondary Education, KCSE, examination and getting the minimum University entry requirement. The KCSE students must first apply to KUCCPS to be selected to preferred programmes. The students can apply at school level or apply individually during the first and second revision windows.

Once the applications are closed, KUCCPS then places the KCSE students in preferred courses depending on the student’s score, number of available vacancies against applicants among other selection criteria. Universities are the highest learning institutions in Kenya and the World over. They offer training majorly in undegraduate Post Graduate Studies. In Kenya, the Courses offered in the Universities must be accredited by the Kenya Universities and Colleges Central Placement Services, KUCCPS. It is the same body that selects and places students to higher learning institutions; Universities, Colleges and Polytechnics. To qualify for University placement one must attain the minimum set Mean grade and particular course requirements. Each Course offered at particular university has its own cluster cut off points, though. Most university courses take a minimum of 4 years; while, some take even more. An academic year at the university takes two semesters of three months each. University students get fees loans from various organizations. Top on the list is the Higher Education Loans Board, HELB, that advances both loans and Bursaries. This admission offer is made on the basis of the statement of your qualifications as presented by the Kenya National Examination Council (KNEC) or other approved examination bodies. As a student you will be expected to register for courses in your degree programme. Any change of Faculty or Department will be permitted only by approval of the University Authorities. A bona fide student will be considered to be one registered in the University during a current academic year. Students unable to register in the academic year may Defer their studies or take an Academic Leave for that academic year. This should be done by writing a letter to the office of the Registrar (Academic Affairs), stating reasons for deferment to the next academic year. The deferment period shall be one (1) academic year renewable continuously up to a maximum of three (3) academic years. Congratulations for getting your admission at Great Lakes University after your successful application. Students joining Great Lakes University are selected by the Kenya Universities and Colleges Central Placement Service, KCCPS. The students are selected after doing their Kenya Certificate of Secondary Education, KCSE, examination and getting the minimum University entry requirement. The KCSE students must first apply to KUCCPS to be selected to preferred programmes. The students can apply at school level or apply individually during the first and second revision windows.

Moi University is a higher learning institution established in 1984. In its first year of existence, there was only one department – the Department of Forestry, which had been transferred from the University of Nairobi. The enrollment that year was just 83 students. Moi University is a public university located in Kesses 35KM from Eldoret town, Uasin Gishu county.

Did your KCSE examination and attained the minimum University Entry Grade and have been selected to join Pwani University? Well. Congratulations on this your major achievement. Students joining Pwani university are selected by the Kenya Universities and Colleges Central Placement Service, KCCPS. The students are selected after doing their Kenya Certificate of Secondary Education, KCSE, examination and getting the minimum University entry requirement. The KCSE students must first apply to KUCCPS to be selected to preferred programmes. The students can apply at school level or apply individually during the first and second revision windows.

Once the applications are closed, KUCCPS then places the KCSE students in preferred courses depending on the student’s score, number of available vacancies against applicants among other selection criteria. In not satisfied with the University that you have been selected to join then you can apply for Inter-Institution Transfer.
