The Teachers Service Commission announced additional, replacement and deployment teaching vacancies for both primary and secondary school teachers.
Following the advertisement of TSC Teaching posts in September 2020, interested candidates are still applying for the various teaching positions up to 14th of September 2020.
According to the official TSC recruitment schedule for September 2020 teaching vacancies, sensitization of TSC regional directors took place on September 8, 2020.
Online applications will be closed by September 14, 2020 after which TSC will generate applicants’ merit lists and send them to various counties.
Respective counties will then come up with their customized recruitment schedules entailing interview dates, and venues.
Some counties have already released recruitment schedules.

The Teachers Service Commission, TSC released an official recruitment schedule for the advertised recruitment, replacement and promotion vacancies for secondary school teachers.
According to the schedule, successful candidates-teachers are expected to report in person to their new work stations-schools on Monday January 4, 2021.
This is a clear indication that schools may not reopen any time soon until January 2021 as earlier announced by the CS Education Professor George Magoha.
