TSC ADVERTISES 5, 000 TEACHING VACANCIES IN SECONDARY SCHOOLS ON PERMANENT AND PENSIONABLE TERMS; APPLICATION DEADLINE SEPTEMBER 14, 2020

The Teachers Service Commission has declared 5000 teaching posts in Kenyan public secondary schools to support 100 percent transition in secondary schools once schools reopen.

DEADLINE: All interested and qualified applicants are expected to tender their requests not later than September 14, 2020.

The 5000 teachers who will be recruited will serve under permanent and pensionable terms of service.

SEPTEMBER/ OCTOBER 2020 TSC RECRUITMENT OF SECONDARY SCHOOL TEACHERS (4, 000 POSTS)

Eligibility

Those who wish to apply must meet the following requirements:

. Must be a Kenyan Citizen

. Must possess original academic and professional certificates

. Should be currently unemployed

. Should not be previously employed by the TSC on permanent terms

. Must be TSC registered

PROMOTION/ DEPLOYMENT OF PRACTISING PRIMARY SCHOOL TEACHERS, P1 TEACHERS BYTSC SEPTEMBER/OCTOBER 2020 (1000 POSTS)

To qualify for promotion and deployment to secondary schools, the candidate must meet the following requirements;

. Be a Kenyan citizen

. Should be a holder of a Diploma in education

. Must have attained a minimum of C+ in KCSE or its equivalent and a minimum of  C+ plus in the two teaching subjects

NOTE: Successful candidates will be posted to serve in any part of the country, not necessarily within the county where they are recruited.
