Schools in Kenya: This is a girls-only public national boarding secondary school located in Waa location in Kwale county. The school was started in 1967 to offer quality secondary education to girls in the area. Since then, the school has grown so much since it usually does so well in exams. It was previously a provincial school but due to its good performance over the years, the school was elevated to the national school level in 2013. In the earlier days, the girls were ferried in an old bus that looked like a lorry which was nicknamed ‘matwana.’ The school was nicknamed ‘Mighty MTG‘. It currently has a population of over 750 students.
