KUCCPS: Release of the 2021/2022 Student Placement Results and Report
All applicants who applied for the 2021/2022 KUCCPS placement cycle are hereby notified of the release of the 2022 KUCCPS placement results.
Declaring the official release of this year’s KUCCPS placement results and report, Dr. Agnes Wahome noted that all the 2021 KCSE candidates have been placed successfully into various universities in May 2022.
In a statement, KUCCPS indicates that the 2022 KUCCPS placement results have been released after the conclusion of the revision of course choices by applicants in May 2022.

The KUCCPS inter-university application portal will be opened in May 2022.
2021/2022 KUCCPS Inter-University Transfer
The confirmed date for opening the 2022 inter-university placement portal by KUCCPS is May 2022 a few days after the 2021 KCSE results are announced.
The Kenya Universities and Colleges Central Placement Service (KUCCPS) will start placing the candidates in the institutions immediately after the KCSE results are released. There will be no waste of time. Candidates will be picked to join universities in early June. Those joining colleges and vocational institutes will do so in September.”
Education Cabinet Secretary has directed the placement agency to open the inter institution application portal in May.
“To enable successful applicants to further align their courses, I am directing KUCCPS to conduct the Inter-Institution transfer process online starting May 2022.”
Students who are not happy with the courses and universities in which they have been placed can now go ahead and apply for transfers.
It is important to note that you must give satisfactory reasons for your application to be successful.
POSSIBLE REASONS FOR INTER-UNIVERSITY/ INSTITUTION TRANSFER
Lastly, it is advisable to give a valid reason that can easily sway the inter-university results. Remember that applying for an inter-university transfer does not automatically qualify you. Your application has to undergo verification before you can finally receive your results.
On your application form, you must give reasons for applying for the KUCCPS inter-university transfer. Your reasons had better be good enough, otherwise, your transfer application will get trashed.
Below are some of the reasons that you can give to justify your KUCCPS 2021/2022 Inter-university transfer:
- You can argue that the cost of living and tuition fees is rather too high for you
- Secondly, you can peg your reasons for unfavorable/ unconducive climatic conditions that are likely to affect your general health. This reason requires medical evidence.
- You can also say that the location of the institution is not ideal for you especially if you have got other engagements. For instance, if you have enrolled for another course within Nairobi that you will be undertaking alongside the KUCCPS choice, then it will be easier to convince the board to transfer you to an institution/ university that is within Nairobi. Remember to give evidence to back your application.
