<p><strong><span data-preserver-spaces="true">The Kenya Coast National Polytechnic has got nine departments with various courses ranging from diploma to artisan levels.</span></strong></p>
<p><strong><span data-preserver-spaces="true">The college’s Department of Electrical and Electronic Engineering was established in 199. It kicked off with less than 10 students who were undertaking artisan programmes at the time.</span></strong></p>
<p><strong><span data-preserver-spaces="true">In 2002, the department introduced Craft Programmes and later on Diploma courses in 2009.</span></strong></p>
<p><strong><span data-preserver-spaces="true">Telecommunication courses were also introduced in 2012.</span></strong></p>
