<p><strong>He also clarified that the BBI process has got no connection with the 2022 elections. On the contrary, BBI is aimed at enhancing inclusivity.</strong></p>
<p><strong>He said that he does not see himself in the BBI structure of power. “I have never said I wanted to be in any of those positions. I and Uhuru are not looking at ourselves on how or what function we will play in that structure” said Raila.</strong></p>
<p><strong>RAILA ON 2022 ELECTIONS</strong></p>
<p><strong>The former Prime Minister was however not clear about whether he will be seeking any political position in2022. When queried, he casually dismissed the subject saying he has never said that he wanted any position in 2022 and that is a subject he would rather not deal with now.</strong></p>
<p><strong>He dismissed the mentality that he was using BBI to enrich himself saying that he had not even been paid his retirement as a Prime Minister.</strong></p>
<p><strong>His punchline was that he does not understand why some “people” are angry over his state appointments.</strong></p>
