ZETECH UNIVERSITY INTRODUCES TWO NEW PROGRAMMES/ COURSES TO COVER NICHE IN THE EXPANSIVE DIPLOMACY AND ECONOMICS SECTORS; TOP 10 MARKETABLE COURSES

Zetech University has introduced two new courses to cover a niche in the growing diplomacy and economics sectors.

The two programs have already received a nod from the Commissioner of University Education, CUE.

The two courses- Bachelor of Arts in International Relations and Diplomacy (BIRD) and Bachelor of Economics and Statistics (BES) were introduced to meet the high demand for quality higher education in the country.

Bachelor of Arts in International Relations and Diplomacy (BIRD); Zetech University

This course is aimed at equipping students with the ability to address emerging gaps within the confines of international relations and diplomacy.

Career opportunities

A graduate in this area can land a well-paying job as a diplomat, government social research officer, a public affairs consultant, political analyst, lobbyist, communication expert for NGOs and governments, or a public relations executive.

Minimum Entry Requirements

To pursue a Bachelor of Arts in International Relations and Diplomacy (BIRD), one needs a KCSE certificate with a minimum mean grade of C+ plus

Minimum of C+ plus in English and Kiswahili and either History, Geography, CRE or Business Studies

Course Duration: 4 academic years-eight semesters

This course is aimed at equipping students with the ability to address emerging trends within the management of county and national economic systems.

Career opportunities

A graduate in this area can land a well-paying job as a chartered certified accountant, financial risk analyst, data analyst, forensic accountant, chartered accountant, and actuarial analyst.

To pursue a Bachelor of Economics and Statistics, one needs a KCSE certificate with a minimum mean grade of C+ plus
