KCSE 2023-2024 results of Nandi County

Kapsabet Boys High and St. Joseph’s Chepterit Girls High schools emerged among the top performing schools in KCSE 2023, January 2024 results of Nandi County. At Kapsabet Boys, 54 KCSE 2023 candidates scored A plain while 147 attained A- minus. 122 KCSE candidates scored B+, 91 B, 42 B-, 21 C+, 2 C, and 1 C-. At St. Joseph’s Chepterit Girls, 5 students attained A plain while 18 scored A-. Mrs. Francesca Chepkwony, the Chief Principal of St Joseph Chepterit Girls commended the girls for the wonderful performance.

Mosaisi Markjimson of Kapsabet High and Yator Cindy Chepkoech of St. Joseph’s Chepterit Girls emerged among the top in KCSE 2023, January 2024 results of Nandi County after scoring  straight As. 

Withheld KCSE 2023, January 2024 Results of Nandi County

The Kenya National Examination Council, however, held KCSE 2023, January 2024 results of Samoei Boys High in Nandi Hills and Taachasis Girls High schools in Tinderet. Last year, Samoei Boys Secondary School trounced others in the Nandi region as the best-performed school in KCSE results with a mean grade of B+ and a mean score of 9.8, beating well-known performing schools in Nandi county.

CS Machogu’s Speech During the Release of KCSE 2023 (January 2024) Results

When requested to take the podium, CS Machogu confirmed that FSE and FPE funds have hit school accounts. He also confirmed payment of all KNEC contracted professionals, including examiners.

He applauded the new system of distributing KCSE examination materials since it curbed cases of exam malpractice.

He acknowledged the challenges faced during the administration of the KCSE national examinations including banditry and the heavy el-Niño rains.

He thanked the Almighty God and all key stakeholders for attending the KCSE 2023 Results release ceremony.

Supplementary Examination

Since Knec has only traced 2000 KCPE candidates who did not sit for the national examinations, the CS sanctioned principals to allow the learners join form one without sitting for KCPE examinations. However, these learners will have to take a qualifying examination before they join form three.

KCSE 2023, January 2024 Results: Number of University Qualifiers, C+ and Above

The number of candidates who scored C+ and above in the just released KCSE 2023 (January 2024) results rose to 201, 133. This translates to 22.27% compared to 173, 345, 19.62% in last year’s results.
