This is a boys-only national boarding secondary school located in Gilgil, Kenya. The school was founded in 1993 largely by the Kenya Police Force to provide quality high school education to the police officers’ children and to young Kenyans from all over the country. The school is completely focused on achieving excellence and honor just as its motto states. The first steering committee of the school was formed in 1991 where Hon. Elijah Sumbeiywo, who was the former Deputy Commissioner of Police was the chairman. The first principal of the school, that is Mr. Willie M. Mugoh was posted to the school in December 1992 and by January 1993, the school had 12 teachers and the first batch of 80 boys and girls were admitted. Over time, Mr. Mugoh was succeeded by Mr. Peters Orega who was then succeeded by Mr. Samuel G. Mains.
