Tpad Filling and Appraisal takes the New Direction as TSC Gives this Directive
Tpad Filling and Appraisal takes the New Direction as TSC Gives this Directive.
The Teachers Service Commission has established new rules on filling TPAD for term one 2021. Unlike the previous years, the Commission has introduced mandatory documents that a teacher needs to upload when filling online.T his documents are part of evidence that will truly show that teachers actually does appraisal.
The Teachers Performance Appraisal Development tool is systematic and gradual introduced by the Commission to the teachers in teaching profession to review, monitor and improve the already existing teaching standards.
For long now when filling TPAD, most teachers ignore the part where they are required to upload relevant evidence. TSC established that only a few concerned teachers does uploading of relevant documents. The rest of teachers have completely failed to understand that they need to evaluate themselves gradually and supply all the essential documents and information as required by employer.
According to TSC’s new directives, the following documents are now mandatory whenever teachers are filling the TPAD:
1. Teacher’s certificates. These include TSC certificate and other academic certificates
2. Certified Documents from school administration. These includes learners progress record, lesson plans and schemes of work.
In Supporting this directive, Dr Nancy Macharia said that this move is aimed at ensuring that the audit process by the Commission is easier so that it can easily identify who did not take part in the exercise and why.
