This is HOW TSC Awards Marks for Teachers with a Bachelor of Education(B.Ed) Degree
This is a special preserve for applicants who pursued a Bachelor of Education degree immediately after they stepped foot on the campus. These applicants did not pursue other basic degrees first.

At some point, however, the commission may amalgamate the scores for both degree and diploma applicants to clear teachers who have overstayed since graduation to shield them from hitting the ceiling-45 years beyond which the Teachers Service Commission(TSC) cannot absorb them.

This part favors applicants who chose to pursue education either at degree or diploma levels from the word go. This assertion is based on the fact that TSC does not recognize the year of graduation of a Bachelor of Arts or Bachelor of Science Degree for instance. The applicant is awarded marks based on the year that he or she acquired a PGDE. See the table below
