KNEC PAYMENT RATES FOR OFFICIALS WHO WILL ADMINISTER THE 2019 KCPE AND KCSE EXAMS

<p>KNEC has released the payment rates for all officials who have been hired to administer this year’s 2019 national examinations&period;<&sol;p>&NewLine;<p>Teachers who will supervise this year’s KCSE will get sh 12&comma; 500 for three weeks&period;<br &sol;>&NewLine;A detailed payment structure by KNEC shows that teachers will earn up to sh 12500&period;<&sol;p>&NewLine;<p>Primary school heads who will serve as centre managers will earn up to sh 500 per day&period;<&sol;p>&NewLine;<p>This is inclusive of the rehearsal day for KCPE and the three examination days&period;<br &sol;>&NewLine;For a successful administration of the KCPE exam&comma; a total of sh 2000 will be paid to each headteacher&period;<&sol;p>&NewLine;<p>KCPE PAYMENT RATES<br &sol;>&NewLine;For the whole examination period&comma; supervisors will earn sh 2&comma; 485&comma; invigilators sh 1&comma; 615&comma; security officers sh 1&comma; 050 and drivers sh 1&comma; 040&period;<&sol;p>&NewLine;<p>A total number of 173&comma; 935 personnel will be involved in the exercise&period;<&sol;p>&NewLine;<p>KCSE PAYMENT RATES<br &sol;>&NewLine;KCSE supervisors based in Nairobi and Mombasa will be paid sh 695 per day translating into sh 12&comma; 510 for 18 days&period;<&sol;p>&NewLine;<p>Supervisors based in other regions will earn sh 630 per day translating to sh 11&comma; 340&period;<&sol;p>&NewLine;<p>Invigilators based in Nairobi and Mombasa will be paid sh 580 per day for 17 days while those from other regions will earn sh 460&period;<&sol;p>&NewLine;<p>Principals will pocket a flat rate of sh 500 for 18 days translatint to kshs 9&comma; 000&period;<&sol;p>&NewLine;<p>Security officers will earn sh 6&comma; 720 while drivers will pocket sh 6&comma; 480&period;<&sol;p>&NewLine;
