Knec Examiners App : The Kenya National Examinations Council, Knec declared a total of 4200 training and recruitment vacancies for teachers wishing to be contracted in April 2022 as KCPE and KCSE examiners.

These teachers will be charged with the responsibility of marking 2021-2022 Kenya Certificate of Primary Education, KCPE and the Kenya Certificate of Secondary Education-KCSE national examinations that will be administered by contracted supervisors and invigilators in March 2022 and in November/ December 2022.

Knec Examiners Training Application Deadline September 2021

Interested and qualified applicants are therefore advised to tender their interest in filling the advertised slots/positions online by September 25, 2021 the official set deadline.

” Teachers who meet the minimum criteria have until September 5, 2021″ to apply for the September-October 2021 Knec Examiners Training”

;

Reasons for Advertising Knec Examiners’ Training September/October 2021

The national examiner, Knec usually advertises/ announces training slots to meet the ever ballooning demand for more examiners following increased enrollment for the two main transitional national tests that is KCPE and KCSE.

The candidature has been steadily increasing over the years following the roll out of novel government policies especially the 100 per cent transition policy a few years ago and the scrapping of KCSE and KCPE registration fee for fresh candidates that hindered many from enrolling for the examinations.

Knec Examiners Training Application Processing Fee 2021/2022

Teachers applying for the 2021 September/October Knec training for examiners are expected to pre-pay a facilitation fee amounting to Kshs 10,000.

Kindly note that this application fee is non-refundable and should be paid ahead of the scheduled training period.

Since the government has erected road blocks to block unnecessary inter-county movement, only Kenyans offering essential services such as teachers contracted to mark this year’s Kenya Certificate of Primary Education and the Kenya Certificate of Secondary Education will be issued with special passes to enable them traverse the closed counties.

It is however very important to note that not all teachers will be issued with special passes.
