Announcing via its official twitter handle, the firm stated that it has resumed operations in the country, Kenya and expressed gratitude to its esteemed customers for their support.
“SportPesa is delighted to resume operations in Kenya. We are pleased to once again to offer gaming services to our customers,” reads a statement sent to the media in part.

“We are pleased to inform all our esteemed customers that we have resumed normal operations and you can continue gaming on your favourite sports. Simply deposit and play!”
The firm further reassured its customers about some new, more exciting and wide range of partnerships in the coming months.
It is however important to note that customers will now have to use a new Mpesa paybill number to deposit money into their sport Pesa account.
How To Deposit Money Into SportPesa Account Using M-Pesa Paybill Number
To deposit from your Mpesa Sim tool kit menu, follow these simplified steps;
1. Access your Mpesa menu using your phone.
Select LIPA NA MPESA.
2. Then select PAYBILL.
3. Enter the business number which is 5212121.
4. Enter Account number as SPORTPESA.
5. Enter the AMOUNT of money you would like to transfer.
6. Then enter your MPESA PIN Confirm the request.
