Residents of Mirera in Naivasha have gone gnats after the nation woke up to shocking news that they set a police camp ablaze.
Speaking to the Daily Nation, Rimui Munga, one of the residents in Naivasha said that there has been friction between the police officers and the residents for the past few days that may have escalated leading to the torching of the station.
Confirming the incident, Naivasha OCPD Samuel Waweru said that three rooms were burnt to ashes but the police are yet to establish the source of the fire.
He said that the police have launched a thorough investigation into the matter.

According to Mr. Munga, the residents are aggrieved by unwarranted police arrests and mistreatment.
