MANDATORY DOCUMENTS FOR PSC RECRUITMENT VACANCIES 2023
Applicants wishing to fill PSC recruitment vacancies 2023 should attach the fiollowing documents to the application form:
- Copies of their national identification card (ID)
- Academic certificates
- Professional certificates
- Academic transcripts
- 5. Any other relevant testimonials
PSC Recruitment Vacancies 2023: The Public Service Commission (PSC) has invited applications from qualified and interested applicants to fill a total of 1, 300 teaching vacancies available at Technical and Vocational Education and Training (TVET) institutes across Kenya.
This move follows President William Ruto’s declaration on March 2 that the Government will be hiring more tutors to address the teething gaps in some government institutions.
According to President Ruto, 100 TVET institutions will also be converted into digital academic organizations. Consequently, computers will be dispatched to the institutions to ease the learning process.
PSC ANNOUNCES 1, 300 VACANCIES TO BE FILLED IN 2023
The Public Service Commission (PSC) on Tuesday, March 28 announced 1,300 job vacancies for teachers who will work in various Technical and Vocational Training Institutes (TVETs) around the country.
588 degree holders, 398 higher diploma holders, and 314 certificate-holding trainers will be hired to work under the Ministry of Education’s state department for vocational and technical training.

The vacancies have been distributed across 220 institutions in 47 counties across the country.
Eligibility Requirements
All interested candidates must:
- Hold a degree, higher diploma, or diploma from a recognised institution. Note that each of the advertised positions have the minimum requirements provided.
- Present a copy of your national ID.
- Present a copy of your academic and professional certificates, transcripts, and any other testimonials.
How to Apply
All interested and qualified individuals are encouraged to apply directly to the institutions where vacancies exist by submitting one PSC (Revised 2016) application form.
Application forms can be downloaded from the commission website.
Application Deadline
In a public notice, PSC requested that all qualified and interested Kenyans submit their applications by April 17, 2023 by 5 pm.
NOTE: Successful candidates will be required to apply for licensing and registration by the TVET authority.
