New KASNEB examination dates for the postponed May 2020 KASNEB exams

KASNEB postpones May 2020 examinations, here are the new dates

The Kenya Accounts and Secretaries National Examinations Board, KASNEB has postponed 2020 May examinations following the coronavirus pandemic in Kenya which has continued to derail the course of many learning institutions in Kenya.

According to Nicholas Letting’, the CEO KASNEB, this decision follows President Uhuru Kenyatta’s directive in Mid- March 2020 directing all learning institutions to suspend learning activities for at least thirty days to contain the spread of the coronavirus in Kenya.

“Following the Presidential directive to suspend learning activities in all educational institutions, the Kasneb board has taken the unprecedented decision to postpone the May 2020 examinations.”

New examination dates for Kasneb exams which had been scheduled to take place in May 2020

The postponed Kasneb exams had been scheduled to take place between Tuesday May 26, 2020 and Thursday May 28, 2020.

The new exam dates for Kasneb exams are between July 28, 2020 and July 30, 2020.

Kasneb has also extended the period of registration and booking for the rescheduled (July) exams to May 29, 2020.

Kasneb advised candidates to continue preparing for the forthcoming July exams by accessing online learning resources at zero cost.

All continuing students are eligible to access Kasneb free online learning materials so long as they have a Kasneb eLearning account.

For all continuing/ current students to access the free online Kasneb learning resources, they must create an account via the following portal https://kasneb.remotexs.co/

Click on this portal and then follow the instructions given to create a Kasneb e-learning account and study from home

Once the candidate creates an account, it will be approved and a notification will be sent through e-mail address.

Once you receive the notification, you can access Kasneb e-learning resources by clicking on this link https://library.kasneb.or.ke/
